In life we are caught in many games. These can be the:

  • Relationship game

  • College game

  • Job game

  • Financial game

  • Grass is greener game

  • Keeping up with the Jones game

  • Better than game

  • Perfectionist game

  • Popularity game

  • also a simple poker game.

Trying to win all of these games has to be exhausting and seemingly impossible. Never consistently winning, inevitably loosing everything at the end of life. The game is rigged for torture and suffering, it seems. God owns a casino?

Maybe you are playing the wrong game(s) or with the wrong strategies. Did you read the instructions? Maybe there is a bigger “meek” game at play of neutrality to all experiences. Can you win this game?

Secret Strategy:

Simply first say “opportunity” (in your head) towards all circumstance, good or bad, to shift towards neutrality as the integrated default perspective. This will allow for the work needed for both good and bad card hands. With good, work on not being reactive and attached to winnings. With the “bad,” work on non-reactivity and a tendency to aversion or desire.

Christian Strategy:

For the religious, you may now have context on Jesus’s words of:

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Meek = humble/wise with neutrality. A rephrasing could be “blessed are the wise with neutrality, for they shall inherit heaven on earth.”
