We all know what a “bad hand” in life looks like and that there are many types. We often only fixate on the bad hands of our culture and socioeconomic status because of our born-into narrow perspectives/paradigms. We don’t think of what it would be like to be a Palestinian child, for example, or what it would be like to be born in North Korea. Still, bad hands are everywhere and are inherent in the human experience. Even Jesus was dealt one of these bad hands. What is seen as a bad hand varies by culture, time and by each person.

What is in your hand of cards presently? What about in the past? Look to unfortunate circumstances in your life, or others, to understand.
