If one’s actions are dependent on their original programming and reality paradigm, then can we have compassion for their fails and faults? They would have made better choices if they had foresight or the knowledge (programming) that would have led to different outcomes. Should we fault others for not having the opportunity to know everything before hand or growing from their experiences? Should we fault you for the same?
It is like faulting someone born into a bad hand of cards. They can only play the hand they are dealt to the best of their abilities and their reality paradigm. This isn’t an effort to abscond responsibility but it is an effort to fulfill the “understanding” in the definition of compassion: an understanding and a kind consideration for what another is going through.
Should you have compassionate understanding for a human with de-faulty programming? Do you deserve compassion for your past and present faulty programming?
